Do you want to go on an expedition this year and earn some PEEP hours? We are looking for any students who want to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh expeditions this year and either continue on to complete the award next year (Bronze and Silver) or who just want to experience camping and walking in beautiful surroundings as part of a group and volunteer to help with the Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.

This will count towards your PEEP hours and look fab on your CV or job applications!

You must be available for the following dates (if you have classes on the training days or expeditions days we can arrange to speak with your tutors to see if this is possible for you:

Training days

Compulsory attendance

11th May 1-4pm Room 106 (Room in the library)

18th May 1-4pm Room 106 (Room in the library)

Practice expedition

30th and 31st May(Please note this is the first two days of spring bank half term)

Hoodlands Farm, Langsett

Assessed expedition

20th, 21st June

Edale, Peak District (Campsite to be confirmed)
