After another successful This Girl Can Ambassador programme in 2017-18, AoC Sport is looking to identify a new group of inspiring Ambassadors for this academic year.

The This Girl Can Ambassadors will be tasked with raising awareness of the Sport England campaign. As well as promoting and delivering new and existing college activities to try and encourage their female students to get active.

This year the Ambassadors will be linked into our AoC Sport Leadership Academy where they will have the opportunity to access a minimum of 9 online training sessions in a range of subjects. They will also have access to a social networking platform which will link them to a national network of Ambassadors and provide them with direct support and guidance from their regional AoC Sport Development Officer.

The chosen applicants will need to be available to attend one of our 7 regional training events, which will increase their knowledge and understanding of the This Girl Can campaign. Help them to establish methods to engage inactive students in their college and help them to create a successful action plan.

The application process will be closing this Monday 8 October at 12noon and therefore please can you give this one last push to your students.
