Multi-Skilled Service Engineer

Hedley Hydraulics Ltd

Location: WF3

 Hedley Hydraulics Ltd have a vacancy for an Electrical Engineering student, who is coming towards the end of their current studies.  The successful candidate will be offered the opportunity to develop mechanical and hydraulic skills through inhouse and external training.  Typical duties include:

  • Build, test, install, and commission hydraulic components (valves, pumps, cylinders) and complete power units.
  • Maintain, service and repair hydraulic components (valves, pumps, cylinders) and complete power units.
  • Work will be at our Wakefield base and on Customer sites.
  • Work alongside experienced colleagues to develop the required skills and knowledge.
  • The role is interesting and varied.

The successful candidate should:

  • Be looking to develop a long-term career in hydraulic engineering
  • Active team member.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Be positive and helpful.
