•There will be a test of the lockdown alarm system today at Wakefield College
•This is a routine test of the lockdown system, you do NOT need to take any action. During the test, there will be staff wearing blue tabards who will be monitoring the floors and corridors and will be on hand to offer help if needed but no action is required
•The safety of our students and staff is of paramount importance and we’d like to reassure you that tests such as this are essential to ensure our systems are as effective as possible. If you have any concerns over the alarm please do not hesitate to speak to your tutors
