NOTICE OF BY-ELECTIONS

Wakefield College Students’ Union hereby gives notice that the By-Election in the following positions shall be taking place in the months of October and November 2015.

• Vice President City Campus and Crofton
• Vice President Castleford Campus
• Communications Officer
• LGBT and Gender Officer
• Welfare Officer
• Mature Students’ Officer
• Higher Education Officer

Nominations open: Monday 12^th October

Nominations close: Friday 16^th October 12 Noon

Manifesto’s displayed: Monday 19^th October

Voting opens: Monday 2^nd November

Voting closes: Friday 6th November

Results announced: Tuesday 10^th November

Nomination boards will be displayed at each campus from Monday 12^th October until Friday 16^th October, to nominate yourself you will need: your name, your student ID, a contact number and names of those proposing and seconding you. You will then be contacted about the election rules and completing a manifesto.

To stand for election you must currently be a student of Wakefield College and be intending to be a student of Wakefield College in the coming academic year. Your nomination must be proposed and seconded by students of the College.
