Prospects, the official graduate careers advice service, has warned students not to take selfies of themselves holding their degree certificate. They said that logos, signatures, stamps and holograms can be copied by fraudsters and fake certificates created. Jane Rowley, head of HE services, said, “None of us would upload a copy of our passport or driving licence, nor give out our bank details, we should regard our degree certificates as precious and private information to be guarded”.
