Throughout this election ITV news have been speaking to people around the country about 'what matters' to them ahead of the election. We've been hearing what issues and policies might influence how people will vote. Now, we are just days away from the election we would like to know what is on people's minds and what will decide their vote on June 8th.
We are hoping to film with a family on Tuesday 6th (evening). We would like to do short interviews with different generations of the same family, so perhaps a first time voter, a mother or/and father and grandparent at home or around the dinner table. This would form part of our 'what matters' piece from Wakefield. We will also be filming in a local business, the miner’s museum and hearing from young voters in the piece.
The piece we week will be the final 'what Matters' airing on Wednesday 7th June on ITV national evening news at 1830 and News At Ten.
