The Wakefield College Annual Apprenticeship Awards are aimed at acknowledging and celebrating apprentice’s exceptional contribution to their workplace, and employers who showcase their commitments, contribution and success that apprenticeships have brought to their organisation.  

Nominations open on Monday 5th November at 9.00am.

This year we have categories that recognise all groups of apprentices and apprenticeship employers.  We kindly request that apprentices, employers and college staff submit a nomination to help celebrate those who embody the apprenticeship programme: 

• Automotive & Engineering Apprentice of the Year 2019 

• Construction Apprentice of the Year 2019 

• Health & Care Apprentice of the Year 2019 

• Business & Professional Apprentice of the Year 2019 

• Apprentice of the Year 2019 for the following categories – Sports, Logistics, Horticulture, Hair & Beauty and Animal Care. 

• HE Apprentice of the Year 2019 

• Wakefield College Apprentice of the Year 2019 Sponsored by Wakefield College  

• New Apprenticeship Employer of the Year 2019 Sponsored by Business Development Team  

• Non-levy Apprenticeship Employer of the Year 2019 

• Levy Apprenticeship Employer of the Year 2019
