Want to have a say on how Children’s Services are developed in Wakefield?

The Build Our Futures for Children & Young People’s Summit takes place on 11 May and WE NEED YOU to go along and have your say.

Wakefield Council wants to consult with as many young people as possible to find out what issues are affecting them in the area so that the Children & Young People’s Plan can be developed.

On the day there will be activities, speakers, FREE lunch, a raffle, popcorn machine and photo booth!  A £10 voucher for all young people who book and then attend on the day.

The topics we want to talk to you about include:-

  • mental health and wellbeing
  • job, work experience and skills
  • young people having a voice
  • inclusion and diversity
  • best use of Council buildings/housing
  • + much more

If you are a young person aged 11 – 18 who lives in the Wakefield district we want to know what your thoughts are. Please book your place by visiting the Eventbrite website.
