It’s our Making a Positive Contribution week next week (w/c 18th November). We have been running this with our students for some years now and want to encourage students to get involved with fundraising activity, volunteering and anything that helps someone else.
We are supporting the Prince of Wales Battalion who will soon be going off to Afghanistan with their shoebox appeal
We have donation bins from the British Heart Foundation – so a good opportunity to donate to charity and have a good clear out!
We are running our 'Send some #positivevibes' campaign – Say something nice about your college community, as we’ll be posting your #positivevibes on social media and on the TV screens
You can sign up to be a dementia friend https://www.dementiafriends.org.uk/register-digital-friend and sign the wall to show your support which is being done by our Care & Early Years Department
Students can also sign up to our fundraising committee that we will be running on a Wednesday afternoon 2.00-3.00
