We have had a recent report from a student about a suspicious black car near Sandy Walk.

The car had a male inside and tried to encourage the student to get in the car by saying "Your mum has told me to come and get you"

This happened at around 3.00 on Monday afternoon.

At this moment in time we have no further information but are asking that students be vigilant and that you DO NOT get into a car that you don't know.

We are also appealing for witnesses. If you saw this happen, or have seen a suspicious black car then please can you email h.shillito@wakefield.ac.uk
