Optimise space

Move your study space around every few days; alternate between different rooms, you may find that a change in scenery gives you a “different perspective on the work you are studying” helping to move on from any ‘blocks’.

Moving study zones is a really great way to optimise your available space, and remember, to take regular breaks to change posture.

Ensure good posture

Studying from home can introduce bad studying habits; slouching, sitting cross-legged, spending longer periods inactive on furniture that isn’t fully supporting good posture.

To combat this consider using a home office set up if possible, adjusting where needed to promote good posture.

If a home office is a luxury you don’t have at your disposal utilise other surfaces such as a dining room table, or even a well set up lounge chair can be utilised to promote good posture.

You can even set yourself up with a flexible sit-stand arrangement, all that is required is a humble ironing board! For extra luxury, if you have a smart TV or a larger monitor connect your laptop/computer to it to reduce eye strain.

Most of all remember; stay home, stay safe.
