Scouts volunteering opportunity

Wakefield scouts are looking for students to help become "Assistant Section Leaders". These sessions are currently online but will be face to face as soon as they are able. The Assistant Section Leader support another person to deliver the session so don't worry you woun't be left on your own. These hours can count towards your PEEP and they will look great on a CV, UCAS or job application.

Scouts work towards different badges, some of which you can see in this link https://www.scouts.org.uk/scouts/activity-badges/

Scouts have to complete a number of different tasks to acheive each badge and with your help delivering the sessions they can do this. For example, as part of their chef badge they have to plan a meal for 4-6 people so you might help give them ideas on how to do this, or a Photography badge and you could show photos that you have taken to give them ideas. There are many many badges so you could help support badges which are or interest to you.

You can fill in this form to register your interest in volunteering. It is designed for 10th Wakefield (Lupset) Scouts, but anyone can fill it in and they will be in touch to find a group that works for you. http://bit.ly/volunteer-wakefield.
